My name’s Alex and this is my food blog.

I love good food but the time I have to spend on cooking is limited.

I also cook out of necessity rather than passion. So, efficiency is a top priority for me.

Trouble is I eat the same food all the time and it gets boring, adding to the burdening feeling that cooking and kitchen upkeep is a chore.

So, I decided things need not be this way.

And this blog was born as my outlet where I learn to batch prep the week’s meals with the help of the Ninja Speedi and Good Food Blender, vary my food and drinks and make them more tasteful and, generally speaking, be more organized in the kitchen.

If you wonder whether I went buying a Ninja Speedi and Good Food blender for the blog, the answer is a big no. I already had those but kept using them for the exact same thing week in and week out. I figured I had two great kitchen tools here and totally missing out on their full potential. So, something had to change.

Furthermore, I also have a small kitchen. So, if meals aren’t prepared in advance, or at least ingredients, I have to make a mess in the kitchen daily to get meals done and that dirties the kitchen daily. Very unpractical and a reality that adds up stress to my everyday.

Overall, my goal is an optimized and more pleasant kitchen life, whether it’s to ensure daily meals are ready when I need them, grocery organizing and shopping, trying to save on grocery shopping with better organization or making kitchen upkeep easier. I want my relationship with the kitchen and cooking to change where it’s no longer a chore. It needs not to become a passion neither but at least something I can enjoy better and that does not create friction for me in my mind.
